On Friday, February 3rd, it was signed, at Foro Bonaparte in Milan, an agreement of extremely importance to the Group that I represent but also to our city, considering the project related to it. These are the words of Mr. Alessandro Natali, CEO of the Group. Personally I’m very satisfied for the success following a long period of negotiation, started during summer and successfully concluded after almost 6 months, and because, for the first time, I have confidence in the future of my city. It is a great achievement that three multinational corporations, quoted on three different European stock exchanges as Paris, Milan and Warsaw, have the possibility to meet in one building. It will suffice to consider the total turnover of the three companies (EUR 94 billion) to realize the importance of this project. Kruk SA is the third name that will join Capgemini and Eni in the building. They are companies that are rapidly expanding – added Mr. Natali - and they are willing to invest many resources in our Province, in particular promoting new recruitments that, if we consider their number, will have a strong impact on the area. At this first stage, already underway, these companies are hiring around 400 people, for the most part newly hired, and we are just at the beginning of the project. I’m not allowed to say anything more but, as I have already said, a lot still remains to be done and numbers will increase even more in the next future. It was not easy to conclude the agreement as Kruk did not know our city, being only a short while that it have acquired Credit Base, a company whose headquarter is located in the Province and which acted as a bridge between Warsaw and La Spezia. We invested a great deal of time not only to work out the details of the agreement, but also to explain our local life particularly focusing on infrastructures. But in the end we managed to transmit our corporate philosophy, which I believe has been the true access key that led us to the successful conclusion of the agreement: our ethics in doing business. Finally, further initiatives were announced, other companies will join the Natali Building shortly.
